It’s OK to be uncertain about a lot of things as we look to recovery, but if we aren’t careful we can become trapped in uncertainty; dwelling on it constantly, letting it drive our actions and decisions, shaping our planning. If we allow uncertainty to dominate our thinking it can lead to anxiety. Anxiety becomes like a prison where feelings don't go away, they are out of proportion to the situation, and importantly you can't seem to control them. God is a God who knows the beginning from the end. We are told he is the Alpha and the Omega, he actually is the beginning and the end. He is here with us now and he knows how things will end with us. In uncertain times the bible is full of God’s promise for us, there is reassurance and good advice on how to deal with uncertainty. Here are just a few verses to help our thinking in uncertain times. Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.
